Urban Agriculture

Besides the aforementioned Every Lawn a Garden, the Internet Scout at University of Wisconsin has a recent Urban Agriculture report.

The City of Seattle and some UW people are involved in a local effort called the Seattle Food System Enhancement Project. The Mayor referred to the Climate Benefits of Locally Grown Food in a news briefing in May 2007.

Two years ago The Seattle Times published an op-ed piece by Neil Peirce called Time is ripe for urban agriculture.

City Farmer in Vancouver BC is one of the first and oldest web sites devoted to the topic.

If you have any other suggestions, please add them.
